Two massive milestones, one long day and one short post July 13th, Day 25: Kadoka, SD to Chamberlain, SD: 116 miles, 2,409 ft. ascent Today we completed the first half of the Transamerica ride. And more importantly, we blew past our fundraising target of £108,000. Thank you so much to everybody who has donated – this is fantastic. If you have not yet donated, then of course we will not stop, just because we have reached our target. So, please do donate whatever you feel is appropriate. Today's ride was 116 miles into a relentless 12 mph headwind. We also lost an hour as we transitioned into central time. We were pleased to average 15.2 mph, but now we are tired and we need to get dinner. Normal service resumes tomorrow.
